Most people arrive here because something rejected a file. An exam portal wants a photograph between 20 and 50 KB at exactly 200 × 230 pixels. A government form accepts only JPEG and your iPhone produced a HEIC. A scanned certificate is 8 MB against a 500 KB limit. These are small, specific, frustrating problems, and the software that solves them is usually either expensive, bundled with an account you did not want, or asks you to upload personal documents to a server you know nothing about.

How the tools work

Modern browsers can do real image and document processing. The Canvas API decodes and re-encodes images, WebAssembly runs compiled decoders for formats like HEIC and an ONNX neural network for background removal, and libraries such as pdf-lib and pdf.js read and write PDFs — all inside the page. There is no server component here that receives files, because none is needed.

You do not have to take that on trust. Open your browser's developer tools, switch to the Network tab, and run a conversion: no request carries your file. Or load the page, turn on airplane mode, and convert something — it still works. We explain the reasoning in why in-browser tools are safer than upload-based converters.

Is it really free?

Yes. There is no account, no trial, no watermark and no limit on how many files you process. The site is supported by advertising.

Are my files uploaded anywhere?

No. Every tool processes files locally in your browser. The one network request beyond the site itself is the one-time download of the AI background-removal model, which is cached afterwards — that is a download to your device, not an upload of your image.

Do I need to install anything?

No. Everything runs in the browser you already have, on desktop and mobile alike.

Is there a file size limit?

No fixed limit. The practical constraint is your device memory — very large PDFs and high-resolution TIFFs will be slower on an older phone than on a desktop.

Are you affiliated with eMitra or any government body?

No. ConvertPro is an independent tool with no connection to eMitra, SSO Rajasthan, any examining body or any government agency. We do not process applications or collect fees — we only help you prepare files on your own device.
